... were keen to grab some food, so after a few beers we headed down to Big Bite and got another beer each and some fast food before heading back to the hostel. We hung around the hostel chatting with the workers and had a conversation about how 80% of the marijuana in all of Europe actually comes from Albania! Crazy! I would have guessed the Netherlands! ... got stuck in a rain storm and ended up sheltering with a drink at a somewhat deserted beach bar that the locals opened for us!
Whilst we were there we noticed a cow on the beach. Fair to say that was a bit weird! On the way home we saw 2 more cows on the road eating rubbish. Unfortunately rubbish is everywhere in Albania, including on the beaches. Again there were also heaps of unfinished buildings around. We headed back to the hostel and picked up our bags ...

... here we travelled on to Montenegro itself and what beautiful beaches, they go for miles, and there are just miles of seats set out everywhere. It is a really beautiful place. Over the border and into Albania. What a difference as soon as you go over the border. This is a very backward place, still use horse and carts on the roads and cut some of the crops with a scythe.
