Everything in Albania makes me happy. From every third shop front being a cafe, livestock roaming the streets, colourful buildings, comumnity evening strolls, towering mountains and houses in the middle of fields.

It has a patchwork history of heros, Ottomans and communism, an ever changing landscape and is bordered by its own self, now chopped up annd part of other countries. Even when you're not in Albania it still feels like you are.

... chips and drink, or corn ( cooked on a tiny BBQ ) and modern shops and cafes. A real mixture. It is all here.
Sunday must be wedding day. I saw about 10 processions of weddings screaming around the town ( a convoy of cars). Horns blarring and with someone hanging out the lead car recording it all. What for I have no idea as all they would be able to record would be the other cars in the procession.

... Would have no complaints growing up in a country like this! But as far as being a tourist here you are going to very bored during the day, but this could be the next big party destination so keep your eyes on Tirana!
