After the diamonds we had a couple of hours free time in Amsterdam. After the easy going tour yesterday, today I had to work hard. Coming from the Rur valley I crossed over to the Rhine. The landscape was open and slightly going up and down with in the distance the constantly threatening Eifel.
The maker of this route has clearly made a choice for the more easy northern area.
Nevertheless in combination with the heat (>30C) made the day challenging ! But I'm not in the position to complain ! Yes my butt ...
