I thought we would just be kicking back and visiting while at the Summer House, but not so. The impressive castle of the Mecklenburg family dates back to the 16th Century. The fact that it sits in the middle of the downtown, ...

... Radbruch) . Here we were introduced to the most eccentric and unassuming restaurant that we have ever been to. No tourist would dare enter these doors unguided! It was called "De gode Stuv" (www.godestuv.de/ De gode Stuv) and it was filled (outside and inside) with all sorts of trinkets and nick-nacks. The owner greeted us upon arrival. She did not speak a lick of English. She was also the cook and waitress. The food was nothing sort of amazing - ...
