... Communications centre which is the department he works in. I apologise if I bore you with loads of details but both me and Soph found this fascinating. From this space ship of a hub they monitor everything that is happening around the track on nearly hundred computer screens. They have guys who broadcast all of the sound such as the national anthems, others who change the colour of the circuit to make the track and the weather appear brighter ...

... the GP2 series, before heading back to meet Mike, as he had booked us in for a guided tour of the communication centre (where he works). This was amazing! It was fascinating, and you really don't realise just how much many people, and how much goes on behind the scenes. ... out what turned out to be quite a treck to find a good spot to make camp for the day.
Fortunately, as we arrived early so the guys could get to work on time, this meant there was ************e else there when we got there, so we pretty much had pick of the circuit! After pitching camp and eating the rest of the breakfast we'd made, we sat back to watch the racing. I also can't lie, and have to admit that I don't really follow the F1, nor do I really know ...

    Lazy Day

Today was a lie in, (no alarm clock was bliss) and lazy morning kind of day. After having a slow get ready and chilled breakfast and pack up making session, we headed out to see what we could find. At first, we went to fetch money so we could pay for the hotel, as their machine didn't like our cards, and then headed out towards the river to find the funicular up the hill, and to see what else we can find.
Its safe to say that this is the place we ...
