Only 2 1/2 hrs as we passed some spectacular countryside. As we were front seat drivers today was able to take front photos through the cracked windscreen that happened on day 1. So you'll see …

Today we rode through Austria and Slovenia, passing many vineyards, apple orchards, past berry farms and chestnut trees. We stopped to sample a fig straight off the tree, and a couple of apples from the orchard. Unfortunately we couldn't get our hands on any chestnuts! We ...

We bought some of the local specialty, Kürbis Kernöl (pumpkin seed oil). Very ...

First we've had in a while, and unfortunately it's predicted to last the next 24hrs. It was a 70km ride and we barely passed a car the whole way on the beautiful back ...

... The clouds disappeared and we had another beautiful clear day. We headed to Kitzeck in the Styrian wine region. Kitzeck is the highest vineyard town in southern Styria. We took the bikes out for a 40km spin through the vineyards. We are parked in Kitzeck with a beautiful view over the valley. Fingers crossed for a good day ...
