    ... with amazing views of both the sea and Mt Etna, then through town to the Messina gate (facing the town), went to the post office, had 3 different types of "Arancini" - rice balls, walked more then stopped for a couple of drinks, back to our meeting place & transferred to our bus then onto our hotel.

    Hi everyone today we dr0ve to Ancona to catch the ferry to Croatia. On the way we stopped at a typical Italian beach covered in deck chairs and umbrellas. We chose a place for lunch and set up on the deck chairs for a while on the beach. There are so many chairs that unless you are in the front row you cant actually gaze at the beach you just look at the back of other peoples deck chairs.     ... went down and we were left lying in the shade we made our way up the massive hill to the car to head home to the hotel. The drive back was spectacular, looking back over the cliff-side town of Sirolo and the Adriatic Sea. Unfortunately there was nowhere to stop and take a photo, as they would have been great.

    ... the Hertz about 20 minutes away, and I drove us back to the hotel where we were going to leave the car for the day. Driving on the right hand side of the road was a little nerve-racking and required constant concentration to avoid reverting back to habits that are ingrained after years of driving on the left. We managed to avoid disaster, for now, and got back to the hotel without incident.
