... on the subway you kinda pretend that the people next to you are not there with no one saying hello or chatting. You have to be quite quiet and just sit still there is no running around and playing beach cricket like we do in New Zealand. About an hour was enough for us and we were off on our travels. When we got to Ancona we checked onto the big car ferry. It is a much bigger boat than the Inter Island ferry in New Zealand and more like ...
... the bus took us up) and we explored down. Not so here. There is no bus to take us to the top – so we have to walk. We headed home a little drunk, and very happy, stopping for gelati on the way home again. Our favourite flavour has been cioccolato nero (dark chocolate) which is incredibly rich and delicious.
