      ... a Medieval military castle & supposed to be one of the best examples in Veneto. It was a perfect sunny day & the castle is high on a hill with fantastic views out over the lower walled town & countryside.

      Am happy to report an improvement in the relationship between Simone & Serena once she discovered Serena knows the way to car parks & railway stations -baby steps.

      Well today was a bust. It started pouring down raining late last night and has rained all day. I thought for a moment, we were having a tropical storm - winds and all.       ... having difficulty walking, and I just couldn't stop smiling the whole walk home about yet another random night in Italy.
