      ... a Medieval military castle & supposed to be one of the best examples in Veneto. It was a perfect sunny day & the castle is high on a hill with fantastic views out over the lower walled town & countryside.

      Am happy to report an improvement in the relationship between Simone & Serena once she discovered Serena knows the way to car parks & railway stations -baby steps.

      ... arrow down the street. I saw a crowd of people outside large gates. It wasn't what I expected. Just gates in the middle of the street.       ... big discussion about whether to see the things we wanted to see or head to Verona - we'll be staying near Milan for three days in about 5 days anyway.       ... it was not worth the money spent on taxis to and from. We went back to Michael's apartment and had a few drinks as his co-workers came and went.
