Inside there was information about the parks original purpose as a living area for the upper class, with triangular blocks of land for sale where only a 6th of the land could be built on, leaving the rest for gardens. We weren't surprised that it had been a commercial failure, but it was still gorgeous and quite surreal, with the main buildings looking like ...

The line at the Emirates counter didn't seem to be moving very quickly, but when it was finally our turn, we were surprised to find out we had been upgraded to Business Class!! My favorite part was the reproduction of a monastery complete with chapel and miniature cloister. The views of the city were wonderful from up there—I could see Segrada Familia in the distance! Back down in the village they were either setting up or taking down decorations for a Halloween type event (there ...

... until about midnight, got a few drinks each, then decided to have our own pub crawl! May I add, the way they do their drinks here is ridiculous. Bradden and a jacks and lemonade and I had a vodka and juice and they fill their glasses half full of spirits! Literally, 3-4 standard drinks a glass. But they were 8euro so I was happy we got a lot! We all decided we'd go back to the city centre closer to our hostel and to a place called Jamborie. Clubs in Barcelona don't ...
