... middle eastern. We were coaxed into a nightclub type bar which had four women dancers in succession in skimpy clothes. We ordered one Baileys to share and to our surprise the tall glass was almost filled with Baileys - no double shots here. We drank it slowly and watched the world go by in the bar and outside. The music was good but so loud that it reverberated through our bodies. We got up and danced for awhile to Ang's new favourite Spanish song 'Bailando' ...

Barcelona is the last stop on our Journey through Spain. We arrived late on Tuesday after our flight from Granada was delayed and after a hitch at the airport here, but we finally got to our funky hotel which is just a stone's throw from the Catalunya Plaza, the heart of Barcelona. Later we got off at Gaudi's park (park Guell) and had a walk around but did not join the long queues to see through his house, The rest ...

... walked the old city for three quarters of a hour more before a lunch spot appeared. Were are they when you need them? Tapas and a beer in a cosy spot did the trick and, although footsore, we soldiered on, the time available is shortening.

We walked further across the old city, coming across many lunch spots incidentally, to Museo Picasso. A huge collection of the artist's work in an impressive space comprising a number of thirteenth century palaces repurposed to be ...

... did you have to pay, you even had to pay a lot. 11 euros just to get into a village they rebuilt and places you can see for free elsewhere. We didn't enter, and decided to take the bus again and go back to the center to see the palace of music. It took us... Wait a minute... An hour and a half!!! (Yes!) to get to the stop where we could see the palace. The palace was wonderful, really pretty and it is too bad you can't really get in. Same as the theater, I ...
