... pretty good as well. We went for a walk up Las ramblas and took a detour down a side street and found a beautiful little square with a fountain and a quiet little restaurant with a really flash menu. I think we are going to go back there tonight for our last dinner in Barcelona. We continued up this little side street and found a local church and we took the back roads arpund to the cathedral. Really nice walk. Joelene has found some leather boots and if ...

Today we travelled on the hop on/off bus. Quite impressed with this city with its beach, park and city feel. Weather is cool in the mornings and evenings but warm during the middle of the day. Stopped off at Gaudi's Sagrada Familia for a quick look around (we have booked in for a tour on Monday). So impressive!! Glutted on this, we staggered into the street realising it was 2.30 and we were fading. As is sometimes the ...

... mess. Nearby the gardens there is another kind of garden, one with a lot of cactus's.... That was really nice to see! Really! I didn't know there were that many and now I can't wait to go to Mexico one day. After the gardens we continued our tour on the bus on our way to find some lunch and to see the Palau Nacional. We arrived there and all they had was a really expensive lunch, so we had a small sandwich just to get through for an hour. We didn't enter the ...

... we get a cocktail of the day and a lounger in the sun and watch! There are already people eating and drinking, and swimming and in the spa pools. There is a DJ playing music and quite a a party atmosphere. Kevin goes on a recce and comes back declaring we need lunch.. he has found the all day bistro bar, where the array of food is incredible. Apart from the food that is available buffet style, there is a pizza station where they ...
