A lot colder today and not much open apart from tourist sites being Easter Monday. Stopped for a hot chocolate and croissant before heading over to Casa Batilo. Once again an easy walk from Hostel Girona. Worked out where it was before we even saw the building just by the vast numbers of people outside! The queue was not too bad so we got an excellent video guide and started exploring Gaudi's masterpiece. Once inside despite ...

... passengers. For 14 euro he took us to the Christopher Columbus statue at the bottom of La Rambla, otherwise it would've been a long walk and Ang didn't have walking shoes. The rider was Hungarian and soon to travel to central and South America. That left us about a 200 metre walk home. There's something great about extended daylight hours in the ...

... best players in history (Beckham and Ronaldo are probably the only two most of you readers would recognize) was good enough for me. Then after seeing the locker room, I was able to walk out of the tunnel that I have seen hundreds of times on TV. It was as cool as it looks on TV. I even ran the last few steps right out onto the field as the players do every time there is a match.

After the tour was over, I had lunch at the stadium. I enjoyed some perlas and beer like ...

... Such a lovely city and perfect walking weather. La Sagrada Familia (SF) is truly stunning, we sat on a bench and ate our sandwiches and drank some beer and guava juice with a perfect view. The structure is still under heavy construction, but even half built, it is overwhelming and so unique. It's unlike any cathedral we've seen before... While the exterior is unique (to our untrained eyes) the interior is stunning, breathtaking, captivating. Envisioned by ...
