    We spent the morning visiting some of the city sights, starting with a drive up to Villa della Regina (former residence of the Queen) on the hills over-looking the city. After a wander through the grounds we headed into Turin itself for a walk around the city centre, taking in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Piazza Castello, Palazzo Reale & Piazza San Carlo.

    ... a friendly Italian guy welcomed us in, he could hardly speak English. He went through the menu with us but he was mostly speaking in Italian so we were none the wiser! Eli had an app on his phone that he could hold over French text and it would translate it so he downloaded the Italian app. It was a bit more helpful.
