We stayed at this resort through Fraser Discovery tours.

It was excellent all round. The buffet meals were delicious and the room was immaculate.

What a lovely place

We are on the road again, free to go where we wish... Part of the liberating feeling that travelling brings is from the actual travelling itself as well as being able to see the world. The feeling of going into the unknown... Well, at least to us its unknown. We left Surfers Paradise in the rain and headed north where we hoped …

Who comes halfway around the world and still doesn't escape the rain? Fraser Island has lived through a six month rain hiatus and yet we were the 'lucky' ones who managed to experience it during a flood. What are the bloody chances. We were picked up bright and early from our Hervey Bay accommodation on Tuesday, hopped on the ferry over to Fraser, …

23/3 (Sunday) We woke up early to leave Rainbow Beach and waited for the 4x4 coach to come and pick us up. If you don't know anything about Fraser Island, basically it's the largest sand island in the world and is a 10 minute ferry ride from mainland. It only has around 200 full time inhabitants and most importantly, it is home to wild Dingos! …
