Weds 1st July - Up nice and early this morning and after a cup of tea, light breakfast for Sarah we set off at 7am for Larnaca Airport and Sarahs flight back to the UK for the hen party! Flights are with Aegean Air via Athens to Heathrow.....all this on the day Greece has not paid back its debt! Hope the airport in Athens stays open.....:). Larnaca, and for that matter Cyprus, seems to be just a holiday place for couples from England wanting to get a bit of the sun. They get that, and very red bodies. It seems most just go from their hotel and lie on the beach each day and bake their fair skin. Also a fair smattering of Russians but no Asians (yet).

... also enjoy a glass or two of Efes. As darkness came in it was time to light the candles and and also the mosquito stick to ward off any flying bugs. A lovely chilli supper with wraps, rice and salad was followed by lemon ice cream and some fantastic lokma....or in greek loukmades! Terribly fattening so the ladies say but who cares! A really nice supper was helped by a nice bottle of red and finished off with a single malt and brandies.
