... last shift with the beautiful babies and then we'll be packing to leave on Saturday. Every minute has been an experience and we've got such amazing memories to treasure. Can't believe we've been here for 3 weeks- it's absolutely flown by!!!! We feel so safe and comfortable in Brasov and feel like we've grown up here haha! ... are ever in Romania, this is a must visit. The castle is located deep in a forest surrounded by mountains. The castle is especially cool because the guy who lived in it loved other cultures. Each room in the castle has a theme from another country...very cool.

... far my favorite stop, was a farm. And soon, I learned, that it wasn’t just any farm, it was Gabriel’s family compound. I met two little old Romanian women working the farm, about half my height, wrinkly-faced, scarf around their heads. They were darling. The first was inside a little barn with a couple of cows, a horse, and a few chickens. Sheep grazed outside. These people never leave the farm. She started speaking to me, in Romanian ...

... and people watching. I went home around 3:00 pm and spent most of the evening writing. I went to bed early as I had a big day planned the next day. Bogdan was picking me up at 9:00 am to go on a long journey. We were heading to the medieval city of Sighisoara, to a fortified church and then on to another medieval city of Sibiu. The whole journey would be about 450 kilometers long. I went to bed and as always on my trip, slept soundly...
