A travel blog entry by tandemtales on Jul 08, 2015

... canal towpaths relatively quickly (the le greens Glastonbury playlist was very helpful!) before stopping in Marckolsheim for a snack, never seen anyone polish off 30 Jaffa cakes as quickly as simon did... No need for ice creams it's been very cold today ( a chilly 24 degrees) and we aren't used to it! Set off with a view to staying on an Aire in Strasbourg. the drive was actually pleasant. Hot but pleasant. No dramas, no falling over.

Even driving through the City of Strasbourg went well. With both Peter and Snoopy telling me which lane to get in. Very ...

A little piece of Strass goes a long way

... Strass it is during our boat trip of Strasbourg. No matter what it was going to taste great and it was, another tick in the tick file. Always good to get a water level view of anywhere, this place in particular as it is often termed little Venice within the old part of the city. We see that we have only just scratched the surface of this place but we are glad that we have spent some time here within in the region of Alsace. New adventures abound tomorrow so sleep with a smile ...
