    A short walk into town to get supplies and check out the gear shops...disappointed on bike hire prices so decided to stick to a bike with a motor, it's tricky mixing the two... Nanno nap and after a refreshing shower felt like a ride - so up the mountain we went. It was quite late and the sun was setting - providing amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains...     WOW,WOW,WOW is all I can say to describe this mornings ride, we rode up hills and cruised back down with mighty mountains to our left and right. We were cycling through the mountains although there was still a few descent climbs for us. I got the biggest thrill and it really felt like an achievement to conquer some of these.     ... the talk. Hard as ****! Nicolette was a trooper and pushed through the first 13 miles with under 100 complaints. Macho woman pumped out the miles. The last four miles was a dreadful straight up climb and she had to have died at least 12 times in that period. We made it and reached a pretty kickass refuge with about 250 people in one room.     ... fine wines, whose pressure is lower than sparkling.Traditional method and White Rose "Jacquère": sparkling rosé or white vinified according to ancient traditional methods. After tasting we headed off as the rain had stopped to a small town called Montmelian. Found a cosy Hotel and had delicious Soup + Canard + Sponge cake.
