    ... place indeed as the king of Thailand has a palace here and if it is good enough for the king, well we are willing to give it a go. We are in a minivan today which is how we got round much of Thailand on our last visit many years ago. We are jammed in and have to buy a seat for the bags, and of course no bus type trip would be complete without a monk on board, this one gets the prize seat in the front.

    The week in Singapore was a whirlwind of eating. Susie and Skip took us to some pretty amazing restaurants, and Guy's nephew and niece-in-law did too. They run a public relations firm that reps for a number of high-end eateries .... i may be thru with duck for awhile. Well see.
