Hey Everyone! Sorry for the delay in posts (again ). We made our way to Hua Hin. It was not in our plan but when we heard Monkey Mountain we had to Sidetrack. Yesterday (25th) we had quite a busy day. We headed out for breakfast very early. Then made our way to Monkey Mountain, and it did not disappoint. It is quite literally atop a …

The Thai King is revered by his people. The Monarchy has no role in governing the people. In extreme cases, he speaks for the people and he is loved by them universally throughout Thailand. His picture can be found on every street corner, in most houses next to the Buddha.
His summer home has always been here on the beach in Hua Hin. For the last several years, since he turned ...

... for a little cheaper rent. All in all we relaxed, ate sea food, had a few beers and some great conversation. Cheers trav - top man. I needed to get out of camp. Through no ones fault I was getting ratty and restless during the latter part of the week, so it was well needed. Returned on Sunday refreshed and chilled. The camp can be intense and you feel a bit isolated and bored. You can't escape the heat unless you get in the pool. There are more people arriving here ...

... to be relaxing we have walked many miles each day. The beach is not as nice as we had hoped but our pool is better than expected so it all evens out.

We will be heading to Bangkok on the morning of our flight. We will be using a different mode of transportation this time. Just haven't decided on the train or minibus yet.

Going to lay by the pool now. Take Care!
