... as did the ubiquitous wind turbines. Langeland boasts that it is self-sufficient in green energy, indeed it even exports it. It boasts solar farms, woodchip & refuse furnaces & generators as well as wind turbines in its mix of energy producing systems. Good luck to them.

... propeller. So shiny that one of the Dutch boats commented on how wealthy we must be, using a gold propeller!! The next few days were spent preparing the boat, making endless excursions to the supermarket to stock up, especially with booze, as there is no way any of us (we will have many guests whilst in Norway) could afford Norwegian prices so we need to ensure that we have sufficient supplies. Only time will tell on that one….
