... br>The expo was next with 125 stalls set up with each country selling their tradition wares. So obviously Australian wine and SA boreworst had to be sampled.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope everyone is having a great time eating turkey and watching football back home :). I'm in a country where we aren't subjected to the awful sport of football fortunately. Unfortunately they don't typically celebrate Thanksgiving either. Luckily I am reasonably close to one of my best friends from the states and we were able to celebrate turkey day in typical American fashion. This morning I travelled for 4 hours by train to ...
Luxembourg, Luxembourg torilusk... age. They were going in to Geneva for school. I could tell from their accents and manner of speech that they were American, and I eavesdropped to see what I could learn about them. Not much, as it turned out, they were siblings and squabbled and bothered each other about not much of anything.
Switzerland actually has a large expatriate population, including quite a few celebrities who seem to mostly live around Lake Geneva. Taxes are low on the rich, and crime is low, which ...
We were on the road by 10 am, just as planned. Traffic is a bit heavier than we would like, but you work with what you're handed. It’s supposed to take about 6 hours to get to Luxembourg. We’ll see how it progresses.
We passed through Belgium at 1:15 pm. We passed through Luxembourg at 2:15 pm. We stopped along the way to have some lunch at 3 pm because I was very hungry. It was a very small town ...
Of course I needed to visit Luxembourg, hiding away there between France, Germany and Belgium. It is the fifith smallest country in the world. It is very hilly and surrounded by trees. The hostel is down at the bottom of a cliff, yay! The city of course is quite small, but it is surrounded by ruins and forest which makes it quite a unique city in amongst the hustle and crowds of all the other major cities. The people there speak French and their own language, Luxembourgish I suppose.
Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, Luxembourg tonkin... law and contracts for a service station. The attorneys were speaking Spanish and the judges were speaking French. All of us, including the judges, were wearing head phones tuned to the channel of our language. There was almost two dozen interpreters in the glass booths around the court room interpreting in about a dozen different languages. It was crazy, but very cool. They had to interpret both French and Spanish into their ...
Luxembourg, Luxembourg alinamarie06... There was a really big crowd (few hundred people) out that night enjoying the festivities. We went to the square again on Saturday night for dinner and they had a live 'big band' playing music, so that was cool too. So interesting little observations.... There are a lot of Americans in Luxembourg! Relatively speaking of course. There were some Brits too. Lots of attractive girls I might also add. Gas is cheap in Luxembourg at $1 US ...
Luxembourg City, Luxembourg spdracerut... we were given a curry buffet al fresco, a glass of moonshine whiskey, and a guided tour of the plantation. We were accompanied by a family on holiday from New Delhi. They were an Indian version of the Simpsons. Rotund Dad, Rotund Mam, Rotund Bart(Sashan) and Rotund Lisa( Pooja). As we stopped at each tree, our guide would explain the nature of the spice and its medicinal or culinary qualities. Lisa and Bart would jump in before he was finished to shout what the properties ...
Luxembourg, Luxembourg coaksOur family travelled to Luxembourg for a week for a work conference. Was it just me or was there a bank on every corner? I think the trip was quite expensive for my parents.
