Thursday 12 June 2014 – We woke up this morning as the ship was almost docking at Livorno. By the time we dressed for breakfast we were in dock and the ship was being secured, ready for the passengers to disembark and enjoy another fay in Italy.

... to Volastra (it was tough because all uphill steps only), we decided not to go further to Corniglia and took a bus to Riomaggiore. Surprisingly, the panoramic view was magnificent
Cinque Terre is a UNESCO place. It is indeed should be well kept and protected. All of them are precious works of nature and human. I just love to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful cliff, rock, sunshine and hikes.
Today was a day of travel by means of taxi, bus and rail. We started with the ship transfer to central Livirono where we caught a public bus to the train station. We purchased return tickets to Florence. We had an hour to wait for our train so we went into a small Italian cafe where I enjoyed some espresso, kids had some Powerade and Mom had some Cokealite. We made it to Camp Darby threw our stuff in the room and headed to the tower of Pisa. This made Dave so happy - this was on his list of places to see.
