Last day on the road
... since we arrived at night I was unaware until morning that our rooms overlooked the sea. Rimini has a very long stretch of beach rivaling Miami in length. The next morning, Thursday, we had a business meeting with Rino at the glass bottling facility. University begins
... week of real Italian lectures! Very scary! However, in Italy the professors seem to be even more laid back about their attendance than the students. Turning up to our first lecture on the Monday, we waited for 50 minutes before being informed that yes, the teacher had not appeared and we could all go home. This left me with 10 minutes, enough time to grab a coffee and return to class for lecture number 2...... 40 minutes in, the ...
Still alive and kicking
... we act things out. A particular favourite so far is trying to mime what blu-tac is..... This involves taking a postcard and pretending to stick it on the wall. The first time we tried this, the shop keeper asked us if we meant "camera" followed quickly by "film" before we managed to get across the meaning! Nevertheless, we have since found some blu-tac!
