We've had some awesome experiences this trip, met up with people and enjoyed delicious wines, but inevitably, we have bad experiences that become a less important part of the overall trip. ... with a bunch of little white tents (cause it was the Montmartre festival) selling homemade food from all over different parts of France. They even had foie gras sandwiches. Woooweee were we absolutely stuffed by the end of that trip!!! After that we walked back down all the steps to see a parade. We sat down in the window of a restaurant and watched the parade go by. ... 11, Thursday
Slow morning as we recovered from yesterday's marathon at Versailles, but by noon we were at the Carnavalet Museum which covers the history of France. This would be a great place to get a snapshot history lesson if one had only a short time in Paris. For us it was a nice recap of all we've seen and learned.
