We caught a taxi to the airport and picked up our new car.
We drove to Peniscola. It took 2 hours.
After 2 hours we were at our house.
There are heaps of cats. They look stray.
There is a REALLY big castle over the edge of the beach.
Each day we went to the beach and did flips off a ledge onto sand.
... the king and queen sat.
The next day and most days we went to the beach and me and my brother did some back and front flips.
And today we are leaving Pensicola and going to near Alicante for 4 nights and it will take 3 to 4 hours to get there.
... paella over a bottle of vino, coming back for a couple of hours of siesta and then staying up late walking the streets.
Lazy days at Peniscola!
The weather is just perfect.
There was no way we thought we would be able to hangout on the beach and swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
On our last day here it was 30degrees.
Peniscola has allowed us to slow down and ease into long term vacation ...
Swimming, sailing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, going to a water park, getting stung by sea anenemies, watching the locals light a massive bonfire and set off firecrackers in the street. You name it.

Whether those men are brave or stupid I’m not sure but I couldn’t help but notice that my decision to live and work in Spain had its similarities.
