    ... far outside Pea Ridge we passed through the very touristy area of Eureka Springs. It reminded us of Helen, GA but a lot less charm and a lot more redneck. Seemed to be a nice enough place to get away for a few days, but we really didn't see much other than hotels & restaurants. Pea Ridge NMP is a Civil War Battlefield that is an interesting study in how forgetting the fundamentals of battle will get you killed.     ... four hour tour that of course took six. Started off with a clear blue sky and 3/4 the way through the trip rain started to fall and guess who didn't have their raing gear Yep! ME. The rain stopped long enough that I could blow dry before I got to my cabin.
    Today it was all about roads. Hairpin curves, fast sweeping curves seeing if I could scrape my footpeg on the pavement by leaning over so far but nope didn't do it. ...

    Finally I had my first great supper at Porkies Barbecue (photo attached) where I had a very smoky 1/4 ribs and chicken. I was stuffed and happy when I had finished. :-)
    Tomorrow a six hour tour of the Ozarks.
