Along the way Dillon caught up and found an abandoned mine shaft. I didn't climb up but Chris and Dillon did. I simply waited. The terrain was a mixture of sturdy and slippery. There were a lot of loose stones that weren't very good for climbing on.

... looked like they were in their 60's and 70's (but they all had awesome walking sticks - note to self; get one of those for the next hike) and I figured if they could make it to the top, so could I.
