We have a shared bathroom in Fellows Attic, but since none of the kids had arrived yet I was on my own. I took a nice cold shower and washed off two days’ worth of fatigue and sweat and dirt, then got dressed up for the admin dinner. Emma texted me as I was about to leave to say that there was a problem with Tom’s room, so she was helping him with his stuff and that they would be late, so I headed to the ...
... off. I've decided to go see Wicked at the Apollo Victoria at 2:30. I'm thinking of trying to go to Westminster Abbey before the show, but that depends on what time I can get in. The rest of shift was very chill, but fun. Emma, Greg, and I chatted for most of the afternoon. I hate mingling. I always feel so awkward. Everything I say, no matter what it is, seems boring and ridiculous in my head, and I never know what to do with my arms. But actually the mingling today wasn't too bad. I met several teachers, including a new Medical Science guy ...
