... sun had set and I peaked out the curtains of my van. People were starting to enter the party. I had myself a couple of drinks in the van to pregame and then made my way in. The place had maybe 50 people in it. Jerry memorabilia was all over the walls. A banjo, photos a giant glowing sign that said "Garcia's" in red lettering. Mirrors behind the bar had hand written drink specials. I had forgotten how much drinks cost in the city. $8 for a beer in a plastic cup?! Ok I guess ...
This morning, the rest of the family packed up and headed south from Tarrytown, New York towards Pawleys Island, South Carolina for a week at the beach. Meanwhile, I headed up to the Beehive Co-op in Mt Kisco, New York for the day.
