Paris: Short-ish Stories: Part 8
... the first thing they say isn't "Hi" or "Ca va?" (How's it going?); they say "Bon appetite". It happens in restaurants, and even on the metro. I was eating a sandwich on-the-go on my way to my second class, and a classmate of mine taking the same train said "Bon appetite" as a farewell phrase instead of "A demain" (See you tomorrow).

... so we thought we'd be Dutch and try to save the money. When we got there, we got in line, but it looked like they were trying to close the museum. It was suppose to be open for another hour and a half, and they were letting a few people in, so we stayed in line. ... We marvelled at the structure before heading towards the entrance. People were sitting along the water feature wall some with their toes dangling into the water getting relief from the heat. Fortunately we had pre-purchased a museum pass which granted us direct access to the building - no line for us.
