... have an amazing view from Colline du Chateau. On saturday (November 28) we had sunshine and 19 degrees (end of November) and I was even swimming in the sea (15 gegrees), on sunday, November 29 we had rain and thunderstorms so that caused a delay of the plane of three hours. Best breakfast in town you find in "Les pains a tables" close to the market. Nice is a city I´d love to visit once a year minimum.....

... upon me it feels very strange and somewhat daunting. But to my knowledge no one has ever died from teaching children so I am sure I will survive.... My Amazon book order should arrive soon to inspire me. I am really looking forward to discovering the 100 things you can do with a paper plate. Life is never going to be the same!!

Tout a commencé avec un train de nuit en retard de 50 minutes...Pour sauver de l'argent, on a pas pris les couchettes mais que les sieges inclinage. Bon, il faut avouer que ce n'est pas vraiment comfortable, et il faut de la pratique pour dormir la dedans.

On s'est quand même rendu bien fatigué à Nice. En arrivant à l'hotel apres 15 minutes de marche, il nous renseigne qu'il a eu un dégat d'eau ...

... at the Monte Carlo Casino. Mark was super keen on feeling like James Bond. He so wishes he was James Bond. It is kind of odd because once you are in the casino it is really quiet and not busy at all. Mark won about 300 euro so we were happy.

We checked out the start and finish line of the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, along with the famous hairpin turn. Even the locals fang it around that corner.

... towels...ahhh it was wonderful. We even had a towel warmer in the bathroom and a separate toilet!!!! Also a mini fridge and a tv which had a whopping two english speaking channels, so we were finally able to watch the news...

Our hotel also had a day spa section. We decided to cap off our extravagant weekend with some more splurge, a 1hr massage each! It also included half an hour to use the jacuzzi and steam room. It hurt the bank account, but it was worth every penny! By ...

Vandaag doen we de canyon samen met Renzo.

We hebben hem niet zo heel veel gezien deze week, maar vandaag trekken we er met ons drieën op uit om de Imberguet te gaan doen.

Bedoeling was om tijdens deze canyon ook wat reddingstechnieken te oefenen, maar uiteindelijk zijn we er niet aan toe gekomen.

Dinner eventually came and it was this funky chicken with brown green beans, yum right, but the cheesecake made it all ok, and the next bottle of wine! ... s photography pictures and spending a few nights cooking dinner together with Elodie. He's fantastic, a perfect free spirit. He used to be a professor in Canada, left on a bike for India with 10 euro in his pocket and stayed/rode for over 3 months. I've talked to him since then and he's now in NYC doing...who knows? More than happy to cross paths with him.

Here was just hanging on the beach and drinking in the bar. The beach looked nice, but instead of sand it was a bunch of little rocks. That kinda sucked, but the water was nice.
