We were happy to leave our overcrowded unheated albergue and all the snorers but were not happy to encounter rain after a few kilometres. The gentle rain turned into steady rain after a few more kms and we were very happy to finally find a cafe after 8kms. The end of the season...
... some of the time, and did a lot of reading. As the season ends it feels like everyone is affected with the same mild depression, even, if as for this year, it was a great season. It just feels like the end of everything, as slowly life becomes less about being outdoors, you see all the seasonal workers gradually disappearing, and all the shops and cafés aimed at tourists start to close up for the winter. After pitching the tent on the Monday night, we woke up to an almost totally British Camp Site, including Fish & Chip Nights!
