June 23rd/24th , 2007 I spent this past weekend in Marseille. It's a large town, the second in size to Paris, along the Mediterranean Sea. I went with George, Sheila, Kacie, Laura, Ginger, and Holly. Fun over walked back up the hill back to the train and back to our lovely Aix.It was all a bit of a dream moment.Enjoy the photos they say more about the place than I can.
Just had dinner and packing for a very early start for Paris. Expect to be there by 12.00ish
WIll talk tomorrow as our last stage begins.
This time next week we will be on our way home.:-)

... for tonight. Just as we leave Monaco, it starts to rain and it continues to rain all the way to Genoa, only it intensifies closer to Genoa. Full blown storm in Genoa, pouring with rain, lightning, thunder, dark and trying to find somewhere to stay. Dazza: This was a concerning night. We ran the gauntlet with accommodation, choosing, for the first time, to just follow the Lonely Planet suggestions (without reservation!)....oooops! ...
... grabbed a few Cassisian garments. Luckily when we got home, there was no need for searching for a park! Ally prepared for another swim but chickened out and laid by the pool instead just as the sun dipped slowly behind the surrounding mountains. We had some yummy pasta and salad by the pool and played spoons then Black Jack using Pistachios for coin! Louis counted cards and Mum kept eating Dads loot! Bed after midnight again.
