Carlin, Chloe, and Josh search for the soldiers graves. As Chloe and Carlin were running, they found the graves at almost the exact same time.
Chloe's research soldier was named Joseph Cuthbertson. Joseph was killed on June 6th, 1944 by driving over a mine on Juno Beach.
The soldier that Carlin had been researching was named George Gill. ...
... to be closed. We found another place that was to re-open at 7 so we walked around until then. Disappointedly the meal wasn't very good. On the way back we found that the original place we went was open. Places have weird hours here where they close during the afternoon and open up for dinner again. Too bad we couldn't try it but that's the way it goes when you don't know the language. We then made for the car, drove around town some more and went back home to get some much needed ...
... Did you know 16 maps of France could fit inside of Canada!?! A tour guide met us in the cold drizzly rain outside and took us on a 45 min your through underground German military command posts and a lookout done that were part of the "underground wall" or "stronghold" that had likely been built by forced labour groups. This fact was interesting because in the tunnels the guide could show us recently found construction flaws ...
Woke up late this morning to find us pulling into France. We had to be ready for our excursion at 7:30 this morning. Walked off the ship to get on the bus in the middle of a frozen hurricane. It felt like 20 below with a 75 mph gust. It was a two hour drive to our first stop in Arromanches. Both of us were exhausted from our marathon around London yesterday, and losing another hour of sleep last night didn't help. The drive though the French countryside was very nice, ...

It's was very long, but it was worth it !
Once arrive low there, we saw the sea.. splendifierous ! *.*
We are to stay in a campsite during a week!
The day we take out to visit some monument.
But the most mattering it is because we went to visit the Cean Memorial and Museum history and civilization.
It is very beautiful !
