Some excursions around Paris included the Catacombs, Montmartre and the Jardin du Luxembourg. The Catacombs were soooooo busy, and only allow 200 people entrance at a time. We waited for about 2 hours in a line that went around the block, but was worth it. Such an interesting experience you enter an old door off the sidewalk and almost immediately go into a narrow circular stair that takes you deep down below the city. These old quarries were made ...

The boys managed to empty the bottle of red wine, something about too heavy to carry back.... sure. Our day finished with a visit to the Chateau and of course the Hall of Mirrors, all very impressive. Another day we did a summit tour ...

... in the fridge, dust piles on the floor, and she told me she hasn't had time to change the sheets yet). I’m posting some pictures of it. I picked up a few groceries and then set about exploring Paris. I walked all around Notre Dame, crossed the lover’s bridge (with all the locks), passed Les Invalides and Place de la Concorde, and saw the Eiffel Tower off in the distance. Travel tip #2: Make sure you fully break in shoes before ...
