Julie always thought it would be romantic to go to Paris for our wedding anniversary. Coincidentally this year our anniversary was on the same day as State of Origin game 3. But back to the start of the day. We awoke late as the curtains were block out. Exchanged anniversary gifts then rushed down for breakfast, full French buffet. ... of Lanvin Parfums, was very interesting. The living room, boudoir and bathroom of her apartment were reassembled in 1985, and have been displayed here ever since.

When we exited the museum, the rain had finally stopped, and the skies began to show signs of clearing. The sun even brightened the sparkle of the gold-leaf covering the statue of Joan of Arc on the Place des Pyramides as we walked past, heading for the bus stop and the ride back home.
