It was nice to sleep in today. Marian was our tour guide today. We met him and Saskia at there store, Lupus Fidelis, a fresh pet food store. They grind raw meat that is fit for a dog but people wouldn't want it. They also have bones, and other dried animal parts as well as specialty canned foods. Saskia makes leashes, personalized collars (she made one as a gift for Casey), coats and toys for dogs. They ...

Today our tour ended with breakfast. Some of the group went on to London, some to the airport, but we went to the train station and took the train to see Marian. ... of the Renaissance Old Town Hall. At the west end of the town is the Castle Church which has the doors where Luther pinned his 95 Theses as they were considered the public bulletin board for the town. The whole building is under renovation for the 500th anniversary in 2017. Given the heat of the afternoon it was time for a pre dinner drink and then the evening meal. After dinner we joined the music quiz held in the lounge and with a couple from LA we were ...

Visited Feldheim. Feldheim is a self sustaining village. They use wind power for electricity, and biogas to heat the homes of the village. They even make money off of the extra electricity they generate, about 100,000,000 megawatts. Visited a small village next to Feldheim. Went to a house that was built in the 1540. Went on a two hour walking midnight tour of ...
