I waited out the rainy morning by sleeping late and only got started after noon, therefore I had a shorter day.

Today marks the beginning of several days cycling along the beaches in Normandy where the allies invaded on D-Day. Once I got going, the weather was pretty nice and I enjoyed the coastal riding and stopping to read the various information plaques. The main beach I saw today was Utah Beach.
