... missed walking up the towers but Liyana came over and we had wine and she cooked us some confit duck out of a can! It was amazing we fired up some potatoes in duck fat as well it was the best meal ever! We arrived in the Bordeaux region to more hot weather and very high humidity. The countryside we passed through is miles and miles of rolling vineyards, and enormous paddocks of grain and sunflowers. Ancient-looking chateaux and wineries are everywhere, and we've passed through village after village of red-roofed stone buildings, each one with its own church steeple, and some with an abbey or cathedral.
