... how French I became during my stay. I got a haircut, ate snails, drove, and drank Calvados! Even nick and bryan noticed I had become a food snob because I only wanted the best food. My Saint Lo experience showed me what a true rural French town truly is. It was so tiny and I am glad I experienced the countryside! ... did a nice 180 degree spin slide and caught himself before he did a face plant. Bryan received a 9/10 on his fall as he was climbing out of the bunker. He received excellent marks for getting mud all over his hands and pants! After having fun climbing the bunkers, we were starving. ... 2 necklaces and 2 dresses for me.
We thought we would stay in Caen but it was too large and busy, so we travelled another half hr to Bayeux. Along the way K and I cracked the wine as the Gps had us going round in circles including going in and out od one town 3 times and down to 1/8thtank of fuel. Bayeux is a lovely town - small and very interesting.
