    ... you young folks). After lunch we took Logan for a long walk. The sky looked very stormy over the English channel and we could see lightening flashing.     Thanks all of you out there who have stuck with the blog so far, today the real adventure begins! We left Leicester, a small city, home of the National Space Center, at around 11 ish bound for Dover. Six hours later we arrived at the Port with it's white cliffs and castle.     Wonderful to see this Rodin ..... finally! Thank you .... again... Sr Patricia!
    We missed the riot. Apparently a number of Africans were injured in a riots on the night before we departed ..... attacked by the Albanians who have dominance in the lorry car park. Luckily we were up at Europe Cite .... which was unfortunately closed on that Sunday. The shopping opportunities are passing me by! Alas!

    ... day trips as a child but had never clocked just how beautiful the old town is. We walked along the ramparts and soaked up the heat. We were pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive everything was e.g. a 3 course meal for 8 euros. Bill got to go up the Belfry for free. Isaac and I waved from below.

    ... bikes? What happens if I need the toilet? Well the last one people I can answer for you. You cut the top off a 50 cl bottle of empty water and at around 19:00(still clear day light outside) you kick your BF out the van so you can wee in it!!!! Even better I got to hold it as she got out!!

    I imagine the next blog will be once we have been into Bruges and we will hopefully have a little more to report ...
