    ... begin with. At pedestrian crossings I keep looking the wrong way before I cross and nearly get run over!     ... holy image could be put on and much more you can't!! We did visit the grotto where it all began...a young girl slipped into this cave to shelter from the rain in about 1830 and saw a vision of Mary. This then re-occurred about 20 times, during one of which the vision led the girl to scrap back the earth to reveal a spring from which water gushed till this day.     ... winter's day.

    It would have been nice to find a cafe bar to spend our last few euros on a cup of coffee at lunchtime, but as anticipated nothing was open . . . well, this is France! We got a tiny bit excited when we saw an advert for a roadside Friterie . . . mmm, chips! . . . it was closed when we got there. A layby near Vron would have to do for a homemade lunch.

    ... site nearest the TGV line for me to enjoy seeing some trains - whilst there were trains they were not intrusive being in a deep cutting by where she picked and didn't disturb our sleep, and I never actually saw one of them.

    The site has a nice pool and bar area but as we were out of season it was closed (even though the site is open all year ) and an open air gym too.

    We were able to walk /buggy ride into Boulogne ...
