... as the road climbed steadily the air became very misty and then we found ourselves in thick fog which made driving a bit more of a challenge. Visibility was down to not very much and we had to slow down to about 60kph for some distance. The temperature dropped to 11 degrees, so we had our picnic lunch of filled baguettes and pain au chocolat in the car at a layby in the village of Lauras.
