... of WW2. The church was bombed, of course, and the fires were so hot that anything metal melted. They actually have gargoyles who had rivers of metal rather than water coming out of their mouths (pic 1). It was a really incredible reminder of the power of fire and the horrors of war.

It has poured with rain all night, still pouring down this morning. The only upside is, it is not cold! There is no sign of this clearing anytime soon.
Just as well we plan to leave today!

We wandered into the House of Moët and unfortunately they are in the middle of renovations so no tastings or tours however we did have a walk around the boutique, quite a professional outfit and beautiful. The second band was made up of the afternoon band plus a few more musicians.
