    In the Champagne area, Ramo and I sought the fine product of independent wine makers! Difficult, as the shelves are still littered with the easily recognizable brands. But we finally found young Cyril, a sixth generation wine maker with a recent PHD on the subject …. and ready to describe and sell us his wares. A wonderful afternoon ... we used the WJB method of sourcing!

    And now we are on to Scotland on Monday … hope the weather ...

    No tonic, so had to have champagne instead!

    We were up reasonably early and after tea as usual John went to get bread and milk, Isi published yesterday's blog.
