We started our day at Chessy. Before leaving for Epernay, we went to the Patisserie and we bought 2 eclairs: 1 chocolate and 1 lemon. They were yummy - tres Bon! On the way to Epernay, we saw lots of woods and farms and Jon saw a wind farm. When we got to Epernay, we walked up to the Avenue de Champagne. We saw lots of famous champagne houses including Moët, Perrier Jouet and Pol Roger. We then visited the ...

After our pretty full on time in Paris we headed back to Fifi and Touquin for a bit of a breather and to plan our next leg. We had a day to restock and plan. You might ask how you can spend so much time, but I promise you, it ...

Another warm dry day. Getting bolder in going off the suggested route and today I started by going on the road rather than canal bank in order to try and get some breakfast. Yesterday's quiche but a distant memory. Worked eventually but was more of an early lunch. A short day as a reward for doing more than expected yesterday. Not practical ...

... When we arrived they were clearing the stage so it was obviously all over and we now understood it actually finished at 5 and nothing to follow, which was a shame. Never mind we had a great meal in good company with lovely people we hope to meet up with again.

Back at Spring Tide we quickly checked emails and John watched a full length film on YouTube after Isi went to ...
