    ... I could cook dinner. After about an hour Emma started to feel a little bit of a pain in the stomach, and after a while had decided that there wasn't a need for any dinner for her.     Epernay, France
    After a disappointing day yesterday, we decided to target Epernay, a place we've been before on a previous trip, but one which we enjoyed.
    The fact that it is quite close to our previous stop was an added attraction, and we were here and set-up by noon.
    The people at the Reception were amazingly friendly and helpful, willingly spoke excellent English, and then admitted that they had spent time in Brisbane before.... They even added a couple ...

    Bought some bubbly in Reims then on to Chalons-en-Champagne. Lovely town with two large churches as usual. The Notre-Dame De L'Epine dated back 1405 the Cathedrale St Etienne dated back 1230.
