Yesterday as well as today, I encountered a physically handicaped person doing a workout run. I stopped and wondered how he did it. Feeling the boundaries of my own body, I could only feel a lot of respect for these people. It made me humble and even more courageous to walk the extra mile, when I thought I couldn't put one more foot in front of the other Later today I encountered Grzegorz Adamczyk, a 31 year young Polish pelgrim who came down from Gdansk in the North. In 8 weeks ...

After our pretty full on time in Paris we headed back to Fifi and Touquin for a bit of a breather and to plan our next leg. We had a day to restock and plan. It was also great to be able to spend our last night in Touquin with Jon and Noush, sharing a bit of dinner and a couple of drinkies and forging lifelong friendships with 2 great people.

Up early Tuesday morning 21st April, final hugs and kisses and the 3 of us set off to our next destination. It was a beautiful day ...

... The sign says it's open but it doesn't look that way. The manager is nowhere to be found. I decide to go to a grocery store, get some food. When I get back. The managers still not there. I wait for an hour eating some food when I see who I think is the manager. He ignores me completely for the first 15 minutes and then asks what I want. He's not very friendly. I tell that I need a place to put up ...

... we arrived at a place called Bar le Duc, and after a quick drive through the town centre I asked George to take us to a shopping centre, since we needed to restock the fridge.
It was reasonable sized town and George took us to a ginormous shopping centre where E Leclerc has a huge supermarket/Target store, and we spent the next couple of hours there.
You might ask how you can spend so much time, but I promise you, it ...

Another warm dry day. Getting bolder in going off the suggested route and today I started by going on the road rather than canal bank in order to try and get some breakfast. Yesterday's quiche but a distant memory. Worked eventually but was more of an early lunch. A short day as a reward for doing more than expected yesterday. Not practical ...
