After brekkie it was onto Menton which is a lovely little town just before the Italian border. Menton is a much more down to earth place than its neighbours and more our scene. We found a park right on the beach and went for a wander and took in sum much needed sun. Next stop Italia!!<br>
Menton, Provence, France darrenhough74... and not campervan parking friendly. We found a picture perfect stop just after Monte Carlo at the top of a hill overlooking the Med. We had the place to ourselves so we russelled up some brekkie in the sun which was lovely, so much so we were in t-shirts!!!

Our destination for the evening was Grasse where we found a good park overlooking the city lights and our first view of the Med.
Grasse, Provence, France darrenhough74... Sailboats were docked at the marina (knez, it made me think of you). Diane ordered mussles and Jon and I had our first mussels ever. They were delicious. Thank you Diane for helping me discover my love for sea food. St-Tropez was further than we thought, but thank god we ...

Monaco-Ville, Monaco jv3117... to do as we pleased around Nice. Britt and I slept in a little, but not too much, then headed down to the beach!! It was absolutely wonderful to just relax on the beach. We took a long swim in the ocean where you didnt even had to tread to stay afloat... the salt water held you up! It was amazing! We pretty much spent the entire morning and afternoon at the beach beside a little walk around to find a supermarket... I spoke french and was very ...
Nice, France ericavt... yachts at the Monaco Grand Prix. Well... it didn´t take much thought as to whether to accept that job! In the end, we weren't working on yachts, but the private sponsor VIP lounges, which had the best views overlooking the track. Now, I am not the least bit of a car racing fan, but that was one great experience. The excitement, the noise, the speed, and all in Monaco... Monaco... what an ...
