I'm in Casablanca now, it's 31°, Nantes was 12 °. It's brown like Australia, France was lush and green,I don't suppose they have great tasting strawberries here. Highlights of our stay in Pornic were a long walk along the wild Atlantic past "les pecheries", little fishing sheds on stilts over the ocean with a large net to be lowered at high tide and, "mais oui", the FOOD!!! Good old trip advisor directed us to delicious shellfish gallettes at a local creperie!

... for a quiet road we enjoyed rolling past the white-washed houses with red tiled rooves and azur blue shutters. As traffic increased we were very impressed with the courtesy shown to us by camper vans, cars and buses in waiting to safely pass us as we clung to the narrow shoulder!
We now have are first day behind us - 53 kl - and we have to admit that we're feeling a little pooped!!!
