          Trip to Benidorm

Shorter driving days now we're virtually in Southern Spain, so we were in Benidorm by lunch. Saw our first Big Black bull on the side of the road. There are loads around, but that’s the first we’ve seen this trip and Penny has them on her mind as she’s just been reading about the Brandy factory and the Bulls used to advertise it (think we’ll be visiting and sampling some when we get to Cadiz).

... port side to view the renovated area of the Juan Carlos Marina built for the America's Cup yachting races of 2007. Valencia is the fifth largest port in Europe and the largest in Spain. The Turia River that ran through town quite often flooded most notably in 1957 causing large amounts of damage, so what do you do? Divert it away of course! So now the old river bed that runs through town has been turned into "green space" and now called the garden of Turia, lovely, all the ...

          A visit to Benidorm

Soon after lunch, we went for a drive to Benidorm. It was the other city that wasn't to far away where we are staying. It only took 40 minutes to get to Benidorm. I was surprised that there was a lot more high rise apartments in Benidorm. We parked the car close to the beach and walked to the beach. It was packed. And nearly all the people I saw were older than 70years old. ...

          Beach, beach, Beach!

We went to the long sandy beach I had spotted yesterday from the tram. When we were getting ready at home, I looked at the map. It looked really simple, but it turned to not too easy. I like sandy beaches more than the rocky ones. I think it is more fun playing in the sand rather than carefully walking on the small rocks not to fall. There was a tram track right along beach. I through that it was really cool ...

"The sky is nice and clear..." I thought while Mum, Mitsuki and I were walking to a tram stop. Today we decided to have a day trip to Alicante. It was the closest city from where we are staying. On the way in to Alicante, we saw the beach that we tried to get to yesterday. It was very long sandy beach along the side of the tram track. There were a sand soccer pitch and a few basketball court on that beach. I saw more high rises when we were getting closer to ...
