... is not right they haven’t got any bathers on…. Bugger me she was right.. It would seem most of the other beach goers had forgotten their swimmers but given it was pretty hot decided to swim regardless. Well that is what we decided happened anyway. The facts are probably more along the lines of we could not read the Bulgarian sign which apparently said buff is good bathers are for men with little weenies…. Haha so off with my ...

Varna is a pretty nondescript town. Third largest in Bulgaria, with a large port and beaches. And a history of Mafia. We went to ANOTHER archeological museum. Didn't do so well at breakfast today despite some serious planning. The lovely looking brown bread I chose and sliced smelt and tasted as though it was made with vinegar. Some sort of sourdough? And then I cut a slice of lovely looking cake filled with pistachios, apricots and apple - turned out to be cake with vegetables and ham in! Bit of a shock, and I might have ...

Breakfast alone today as Jerry not feeling great. I took reading material and had a lovely time tucking into the buffet. No Igor, just a smiley girl who kept refilling my tea and orange juice and said I should take a plate of breakfast up to my husband. Which I did, and it made a modest lunch for two!

Already planning tomorrow morning's assault on breakfast buffet.

Amidst the yoghurt, fruit, smoked salmon etc, I ...
