... almost always trekking ahead of me on our uphill climbs but today he wasn't as keen to forge ahead. On the brow of this ridge the path is a bit narrow and you find yourself just inches from the "edge". Thanks to the help of Bill and a few encouraging "that a boy" Lars managed to get to the TOP! We all had a bit of a celebration as he gave us a raised arm salute! We were then all able to enjoy the views...well everyone but Lars ...

... the ridges. We could see some signs of the recent rainfall, there was some erosion and a few puddles of water...generally a rare sight in this part of Spain. Eventually we came to an old ruin where we stopped for lunch. Then we finished our hike, climbing back along the side of the ridge to complete the circle and return to our cars.

It was a great way to restart our walking program. Here are some photos of the day.

... 5 KM with 4 good hills, building in intensity as the walk progressed so we got a bit of cardio training. Normal pace allowed us to cover the distance in about an hour, just in time to find our breakfast juice waiting!

At 9:30 there is a daily yoga session. Lars and I struggled through our first class wondering what we'd signed up for! All classes are free and optional. As they say, "we are not a boot camp, do ...
