... In afwachting van de Temazcal speelde zich nog het volgende leuke
verhaaltje af: De 'gringo' (een van de 'bewoners') ontmoet een lokale boer (te paard gezeten) die hem nog geld moest voor geleverde arbeid. Gezien de lokale boer geen geld had of wou geven en de gringo al zatjes was van de vodka, besloot de gringo dus een lans te maken van een bamboestok en een mes en dan in ontbloot bovenlijf op jacht te gaan op de boer, roepend "ik moet hem vermoorden, ja toch?" ...

... buffer at one point, when a group of dogs tried attacking our poor group member when he crossed their territory - he hid behind our bikes as we were riding: we were his human shield! He stayed with us until we reached the next place - he was very cute, and we named him Jeffrey.
