... It was an early start on Friday morning, being that I got up at 9:30am. After a quick croissant from Consuela's (I tried unsuccessfully to make her smile by grinning at her) we set off through the mountains along the coastal route towards Lekitio. I had heard there was to be a 'dead goose' festival here today and was understandably keen to see this. First of all we had the mountain roads to navigate. 6/9/ Joined a group tour to Telodo. Our tour guide led us to several sights within the stone walls of the old city which is surrounded by a river: cathedrals, museum, synagogue and alcazar. It was such an amazing sight!
