      Ooty is at 2 200m. We arrived at night, it was cold. We had to wear our jumper and jacket. The next morning, we went for a trek around Ooty. Our guide took us across farmland, Eucalyptus forest, tea fields and on a view point. We had a great time. I wish I had time to write down all of what he told us before I forget.       ... has been raining quite a bit, which has resulted in me sleeping a bit more than I need or want to do.

      ... traveling with a really nice couple from France, Raphael and Sigo, for the last couple of days. The trainride winds up the hills past the tea plantations, and stops occasionally at old train stations for chai and snacks. At one station, Sigo had her pakora stolen by a monkey.
