After that we went back to Lymond House on a mad Tuk tuk which was a bit scary and we ended the day by going on a night train.



We are writing this whilst on another Train which we are on for a whole day and a night going from Chennai to a wildlife park in hope of seeing some Tigers.

We moved up to Ooty, the town above Coonoor, to get better guest houses and just generally, a little more excitement. Ended up staying at the YWCA, a lovely old building turned guesthouse for Indian travellers, tourist families and couples. ... had spent 9 hours on that train, I think it would have killed me.

My main task for my walk into town this evening was to find a hat to keep the amazingly strong sun here off of my face and head. When I went out this morning I put sunblock cream on my face - but when I looked in the mirror in the evening I could clearly see which places I had missed putting the cream. Certain patches of my forehead were as red as a beet!
