... from dinner at a cowboy chuck wagon cookout and it was lots of fun. When our bus was about to turn off into the track to the bush camp, two bandits on horses circled us, and then one came on demanding our money, and all that stuff. Cereal in the Hardin motel room with coffee from their office. Today we will get to Yellowstone for sure, but first we'll stop less than an hour away near Billings at Pictograph State Park which is a national heritage site. Did self-guided walk to cave with paintings -- red and black, but the black very hard to see. Lovely quiet place, spent over an hour.

It was very interesting because the tour was given by an Indian woman who was descended from a woman who was there at Little Bighorn - 5 generations ago; therefore, we got a totally different slant on the event.
