Natal, State of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil pamericas... spaghetti, and last night we went for a special meal at the spanish run restaurant. It was a beautiful raised up thatched place on the prominantary with sand dunes to the right and surrounded by the lapping waves. Needless to say we were the only people there at 7pm!!!! It was such a treat.. and the only people we saw were a few locals on horseback or bicycle attempting to make it round before the tide fully came in.

We spent our days relaxing, soaking up the sun, reading ...

Natal, State of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil emsaboia... this I would be interested to hear......... So because my emotions are shot to pieces at leaving my lover and Pipa behind I am not handling the flight very well and I am sat right over the wing so convince myself that one of the engines has just failed and I cant help myself but I have to ring the bell to get the Stewardess. Thankfully she speaks English but I think she and the passengers around me who can understand English are thinking that I am a bit strange, as I ...
Natal, State of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil hezza39... at 7:00pm and tried to check into this grand hostel that is a well designed castle with a medieval theme located on Ponta Negra Beach on the outskirts of the city. Full of people. I tried to get them to allow us to sleep on a mattress in the dungeon on the floor but they wouldn´t be in it. We trekked from hotel to poussada (small hotel) to apartment, to albergue (hostel) for three hours, no joy. Everything was packed out for the weekend. Rich Brazilians ...
Praia Da Pipa, Brazil inoursuitcase... So the one girl goes to me, "My friend really likes you but she doesn´t like Americans, but if you just act super nice to her than everything should be cool and we can go back to my place etc etc". I snapped, and I say "**** her, I ain´t going to be nice and act obsequious to her just because she doesn´t ****ing like Americans, I´m glad she doesn´t like Americans cause I don´t like her anyways." This may not be verbatim ...
Pipa, Brazil merkdog4... pull it off, I´m pretty convincing when I have to be. It also helps when your girlfriend is about 5 IQ points away from being labled retarded. That´s why I try to never date smart girls, too hard to get out of ****. BTW: I´m assuming Steph (ewee´s wife) no longer reads this blog if in fact she ever did to begin with. Steph is not a big fan of the word Retard, and I just can´t help it, but I obviously am. Go to dinner with everyone to the ...
Natal, Brazil merkdog4... proven much better....After looking at the other two guides that are dedicated to Brazil, it wins on detail but loses bigtime on accommodation and eating options as its target audience are the rich kids. They all have their priorities all mixed up. For example, both Toeprints and Enough Guide suggested that the reader should stay in Ponta Negra while in Natal but none of them gave directions how to get there. They all include the poxy churches and ...
Natal, Brazil roro... at nearly double the price. All for sake of convenience. The streets were packed until about 2 am when everyone either headed home with their catch for teh evening or headed up to the disco up the road to party until dawn. I managed to make it up all night once or twice. It was always definitely a party worth checking out, at least for a little bit. Beware of the men, always.
Praia da Pipa, Brazil worldwanderer05... so I headed back to Ponta Negra in Natal on my own for a few nights. My Portuguese being put to the full test, I managed to find the beach and a hotel after only an hour or two of aimless wandering.... Very touristy, lots of gringo´s, great all you can eat shrimp restaurants & great Buggy Tour - thank you Marco!
