Breakfast wasnt included this morning, so we set off without. Its better to have a few miles under your belt before eating. We stopped off at the Golden Harvest where we were treated well by the staff and other guests. I guess no one can believe that we are doing what we are. least of all us.

Wednesday morning Mom, Jena, and Jacob met up with Michelle at Peck's in Spring Green, WI. These are a few photos of the animals we saw, and us with Jacob. It was very warm and sunny, with temps reaching the 80's. A fun time was had by all!

After years of not watching hardly any football, we just couldn't get enough. It helps that Clemson (my alma mater) has been playing really well this season and is ranked! This could be our year! Go TIGERS!!! Then SDSU (Steve's alma mater) was playing Michigan so we wanted to keep up with that but we were in University of Wisconsin country, which consistently has an good team.

Madison also has one of the most interesting farmer's markets I've ever been to with unusual produce. ...

A real, hot breakfast at the hotel then on the road again. We traveled into Illinois and took 294 around Chicago. Passed O'Hare International Airport. On 294, the rest stop is called an "oasis" and it stretches across the highway. Just had to get off on one to check it out. Pretty cool watching the traffic pass by below.
