A day on Crete, enjoying great mild weather, some 4,000 year old culture, fruits of the forest, home made wine and our first ever swim in the Mediterranean. Not a bad life. They really do have chickens in all the back yards. After our stroll we had an hour in the sun by the pool then it was waffle time. ...

... We the had a Tunisian moment as I told Barry I had been stung and tried to pull out the stinger while in intense pain. Barry though had a page and a half to go! He finally got the message as I pointed out to him the reading time was over. Trouble was this coincided with waffles time. The barman gave us a strange look as we asked for just a glass of ice and I adjourned to the toilet to give myself some first aid. With the ice ...
