... onto the plane.
All I had left at this point was a flat photo too large to fit into my carry on and too delicate to trust to the suitcase and some rolled posters that I didn't want to get crushed. Put them in a plastic bag and pretend you bought them at the airport. I was challenged on this in Newark, but I held my ground. I wasn't about to have flown 12 hours with them intact just to have them crushed in New Jersey. So common sense won out and I made it home ...
... from the rest of my family's rolls as that was my favorite part, and replacing the little button top on the bread. When they came to breakfast, they would be left with a hollow shell with no bread inside, resulting in another ...

Seattle, Washington, United States kjerstan... It was windy and lots of rain, at times quite heavy. The first part of the drive was okay and we had a stop in Centralia to get a bite to eat and give the dogs some exercise. Rest of the drive up the freeway was okay but as we got farther north the weather became worse. The KOA campground was okay the sites were gravel and quite short in length.(Did not have any pull thrus where you did not have to unhook) They did however have ...
Kent, Washington, United States shipling... family has been providing has really helped Sheryl and Alex as they adjust. They are eternally grateful. Sweet cards and packages have been arriving in the mail - helping them to celebrate and enjoy this most gracious blessing - their son Kai. That is update # 3. We'll keep them coming. Eventually Alex and Sheryl will use their travelpod blog as a place for photos and updates -but not now. They have healing, resting, pumping, and eating on their minds. Much love to you all! Heather
Seattle, United States wildwoman... many drawbacks. It has already been approved for treating other types of cancer. It has been through a "phase I" clinical trial for Mark's type of cancer and showed promising results inspiring a larger "phase II" clinical trial. Unfortunately, joining the trial does not guarantee Mark will get the Tarceva. We should know soon which group Mark falls under, 50-50 chance: either he receives standard care described above or he receives the same standard ...
Seattle, Washington, United States hoshisan... of art design, party planning and event planning...spectacular spectacle. I loved being in the creative environment, these are my people- casualy funky clothes (yes, the very present question of "what are you wearing" as an answer to what career I want to pursue) i like the casual, funky, being in my body, not being isolated or at a computer all day, interacting with folks, troubleshooting, problem solving, learning about great you tube videos, working with all types ...
Seattle, Washington, United States kimshirley28... trip. For some people, leaving their friends and family is easy, but for me, someone who has always known the comfort of friends and family, it is not -- especially at a time when my friends and/or family need me. But part of what this trip means to me is living out a dream. I am a realist, not a dreamer. I've had goals but not dreams per se. So to permit myself to have a dream, to admit it, and then to ...
Seattle, Washington, United States minhee... we went on a cruise around Elliot Bay - it was cool getting a bit of history about the place and seeing the different parts of the city from the water. ...It's wierd how you can tell tour guides have used the same jokes repeatedly for the last 15 years... The Aquarium was closed for renovations which was a bugger so we hit the Space Needle instead. It was pretty cool - a very touristy thing to do. Got a ...
